In honor of the patients and families impacted by breast cancer, Halcyon Hospice has made a donation to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, a Foundation dedicated to education and research about causes, treatment, and the search for a cure.
Every 74 seconds, somewhere in the world, someone dies from breast cancer. Cancer facts and figures indicate that in 2012, an estimated 226,870 cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed among women and 2,190 cases among men in the U.S.
